For the Apple TV+ film adaptation of The Sky Is Everywhere, our creative campaign focused on “Big Emotions; Beyond Reality” in order to showcase its unique visual and sonic language that explored unrestrained, extreme emotions as if bursting to life from the novel itself.

An immersive Instagram carousel Spread was at the center of our campaign and provided a deep editorial look at the film’s visual theme of magical realism, music’s emotional effects, in-world stories and original content showcasing vision from the director, cast and crew.

Sonic Bloom
We created an immersive audio driven YouTube experience to allow fans to see, hear and feel all of the emotions of the characters dealing with love, grief and finding true harmony. Using headphones for the full audio experience, fans listened to sweeping music and sound design across our custom remixed track in binaural audio. Our custom motion graphics, illustrations, and stop-motion video floral blooms fueled the visual aesthetic and played into the magical realism seen in the film.

For The Sky is Everywhere, we built a strategy that reflected on how feeling loss creates an almost fantastical quality where the scale of the outside world and one’s intimate, inner experience are out of tune. They are juxtaposed and conflated together so that the lines between the two no longer exist. Grief, pain, and love are no longer held within. They are ’everywhere’.

Process in Bloom
Our in-house shoot captured stop-motion video of floral elements blooming and unfolding paper notes to make the content come alive off the screen. Working with on-set visual artist/photographer Valheria Rocha, we collaborated to bring the beautiful photography she captured during the film production into our designs to create a cohesive art direction, through handmade collaged layers that echo the depth of the film’s storyline and showcase the gorgeous cast.
